Cape Town (IANS): Delhi Daredevils opened their account in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a 10-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab at the Newlands in a rain-truncated Twenty20 match here on Sunday.
Put in to bat first, Kings XI made 104 for seven in their stipulated 12 overs. In reply, Daredevils were set a rain revised target of 54 from six overs. Openers Gautam Gambhir (15 not out) and Virender Sehwag (38 not out) took the Daredevils to victory in just 4.5 overs.
