DAVID Warner will be ideally placed to give the Australian Test team inside knowledge before the Ashes series when he plays alongside England swingman Steve Harmison at Durham in May.
Warner has signed a Twenty20 deal with the county side and will represent it during England's domestic tournament in May-June. Australia's campaign to retain the Ashes starts two months later.
Harmison was instrumental in England's famous 2005 series win over Australia.
Warner will join Durham after his IPL commitments end.
