Tendulkar rules out multiple-captaincy in Mumbai Indians

Sachin Tendulkar has ruled out any multiple-captaincy theory for the Mumbai Indians IPL team. The master blaster made it clear that there would be no such experiment with the Mumbai team.

Tendulkar told reporters on Tuesday, “Let them (Kolkata Knight Riders) do whatever they want. At Mumbai Indians we will do what we want.”

Knight Riders coach John Buchanan has given the multiple-captain theory that irked the likes of KKR captain Sourav Ganguly and former players Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar.

Though Buchanan later retreated, saying he actually meant multiple-strategists, Tendulkar didn’t see anything novel in the idea for, he said, senior players always chip in with suggestions.
