Those who cannot live without their daily dose of the two passions of the country- Bollywood and Cricket- must have grasped the significance of our headlines, if not, then read on!
The second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2) is currently on in South Africa. But apart from the hype that the matches are creating, its the 'Fake IPL Player' who has hogged the headlines since the last few days via his blog. A large number of surfers have checked in to see the 'juicy inside details' about the cricketers and their Bollywood owners.
Unfortunately, some of the jokes and also the details of the team meetings (SRK's Kolkata Knight Riders) had of late become too personal (and at times false) for comfort. But it now seems to be over.
If our cricketing sources are to be believed, the cricketer in question, who is obviously a memeber of Shah Rukh Khan's KKR, is a former Indian opener (dumped unceremoniuosly from the National team). Its also been heard that his laptop and mobile have been siezed and he has been removed from the team. But this is not the end of the story, here is a corollary!
One of our sports journalist tells that the 'Fake IPL Player' is not cricketer and definately not a member of Kolkata Knight Riderss. He is just trying to confuse the issue claiming to be one. He is a fairly well known journo, who gets info from KKR team members.
