Lalu's son has violated IPL rules: Shekhar Suman

PATNA: Bollywood star and Patna Sahib Congress nominee Shekhar Suman has alleged that RJD chief Lalu Prasad's son was favoured violating all rules to enable him to participate in IPL 2 20-20 cricket tourney being played in South Africa.

Suman, heading a motorbike rally of youths, reached the Children's Park at Sri Krishna Puri where he addressed cricket players and youths. He said it was unfortunate while the BCCI has been playing with the future of Bihari players for the past nine years, it allowed Lalu's son to play in the IPL throwing all rules and regulations to wind. Lalu's son is representing Delhi Daredevils.

Suman said that according to the IPL rules only those players who represented junior or senior team of the country or played for their respective state could be considered. Lalu's son was considered for the IPL only to keep Lalu in good humour.

Suman later moved on bikes with several of his supporters in different localities, including Kidwaipuri, S K Nagar, Dujra, Chakaram, Golghar, Boring Road and Buddha Colony.
