Congress nominee from Patna Saheb and noted film and TV star Shekhar Suman, during his motorcycle rally in Patna on Wednesday, slammed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav for pulling strings to get his son included in the IPL 2 20/20 cricket team touring South Africa.

Addressing a rally at the Children's Park in Sri Krishna Puri, Suman said that while cricket in Bihar suffered a huge setback under the Rabri regime, the former Chief Minister spared no attempt in getting his son Tej Pratap Yadav included in the team by bypassing all cricket rules and standard practices that other youths had to undergo before being selected.

"The rules clearly indicate that only those players who have either represented their country in either junior or senior division in any international match or have represented their state could be selected in the IPL-2 20/20 team but Yadav's son was chosen so as not to incur the wrath of Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Railway Minister.

Suman, since coming back to Patna a few days ago, has taken a foot tour, a rickshaw tour, a bike tour, and now a motorcycle tour of the capital city to garner support for his candidacy.
